Joan, Kristina, and Emily came from the Bonnyvale Environmental Education Center and posed an engineering problem for the kindergartners to solve. Imagine you were going on a field trip and the bus broke down. A storm is coming. Can you build a shelter that can fit all of your classmates and protect you from the storm?
This problem led to lots of problem solving, teamwork and fun in the forest as the kindergartners worked together and built a shelter that everyone could actually fit inside!
