Secret Reader

Who has three children, two animals, and long hair?  Gianna's mom, Leslie!! We love having secret readers come! Please contact Ellen if you'd like to be a secret reader.

Songs and Books with Mr. Pickles (and a special appearance from Mr. Brewer!)

Proud Block Builders!

That takes teamwork!

Our Trip to the Post Office

We had a beautiful day for our walk to the West Brattleboro post office. Along the way, we saw the fire station, the Whetstone Brook and lots of big trucks! At the post office, we bought stamps to mail our letters. (The stamps had pictures from a book we have read with Mr. Paciulli called The Snowy Day!) Holly, the postal clerk, let us see where our letters went after we put them in the mail slot and everyone got to cancel a stamp.  I hope you've all received your letters by now!

It's Sugaring Time!

Mr. Pancake, father of our ESOL teacher Heidi Pancake, came and tapped the sugar maple tree in the courtyard.  The kindergartners have had a chance to taste the sap and are working to collect enough sap to boil into maple syrup!

Secret Reader

Do you know someone who loves coffee, audiobooks and almost all insects (except cockroaches)??  We do!  Leander's mom, Fronsy!  She was our first secret reader of the year!  The kindergartners enjoyed using the clues to try and guess who was coming to read to us.  Secret readers make reading even more fun!
