A cozy day at school

The kindergartners were invited to wear their pajamas for a cozy day at school!
Mr. Paciulli and Ms. Ross read us a story about The Gingerbread Man and we all enjoyed a cookie for snack!

Dreidel Game

The kindergartners played the dreidel game with their big kid buddies, as we learned about different holiday traditions in December.

The Gingerbread Man

In December we read a variety of stories about The Gingerbread Man. The kindergartners worked on retelling the beginning, middle, and end of the story; comparing and contrasting the different versions (for ex. the gingerbread boy gets eaten by the fox, but the gingerbread girl survives by lassoing the fox’s snout shut!), as well as designing a trap to catch that fast gingerbread man before he runs away! We celebrated our study of the story of the Gingerbread Man by decorating (and eating!) our own gingerbread cookies. Ask your child what they ate first – the head, arms or feet?!

Stone Soup

Thank you for all the sharing of ingredients for our Stone Soup. It was delicious and nutritious!  Thanks to all of you who were able to join us for our Stone Soup feast!

Storytime with Mr. Paciulli

Once a week our principal, Mr. Paciulli, comes in and reads us a story. It's one of our favorite times of the week!

Our Visit with Trooper Waitekus

Trooper Waitekus came and talked with the kindergartners about his job with the Vermont State Police.  Best of all, he brought his new cruiser for us to sit in!
