The 100th Day of School

Celebrating 100 days of fun and learning! We're 100 days smarter!

Our Trip to the Post Office

Hopefully, by now, you've all received your Valentine letters! On Valentine's Day, we walked to the post office to buy stamps. After putting our letters in the mail slot, we got to see where those letters go! Everyone got a chance to cancel a stamp on a letter. We even got to see Austin's grandmother pick up a big package!

Stories in the Snow

Emily Hartz, an environmental educator from Bonnyvale Environmental Education Center, taught us about following animal tracks in the snow and what stories those track tell us! First, we learned about the different patterns of tracks- walkers, waddlers, bounders and gallopers. Then we went outside and tried moving in those different track patterns ourselves,. Finally we looked for tracks in the woods and created our own animal stories in the snow.
