Secret Reader

Who loves to read and dance and had a rabbit named Miss Ruby Whiffle Wig? Our secret reader, Amity (Lina's mom), that's who!

Pancakes with Mr. and Mrs. and Ms. Pancake

The kindergartners celebrated our study about seasonal changes from winter to spring by enjoying our own syrup (collected from a sugar maple in the school courtyard and boiled down in our classroom) on pancakes with Mr. Pancake (who tapped the tree), and Mrs. Pancake (who read us a book about maple syrup) and Ms. Pancake (the ESOL teacher)!

Fairy Houses and Fun in the Forest

Secret Reader

Who has brown hair and drives a white car? Who has two daughters and always says, "Take on the day!" Our secret reader, Danielle (Sophia's mom), that's who!

Kindergarten Authors and Illustrators

Samantha the Skunk

Members of the Student leadership team from BAMS came and did a skit about prescription drug safety to teach kids that it's not okay to take medicine without an adult telling them to.

A Visit with An Author and Illustrator

Local author and illustrator, Sue Owings, (and grandmother of two Academy stars) came and shared her book, "Homespun" with us. Maybe her visit will inspire some kindergarten authors and illustrators! Thank you, Sue!
