Building a Shelter for "Mousey"

After building a shelter in the forest for our class with the teacher from Bonnyvale Environmental Education Center, Allie challenged the kindergartners to build a shelter for "Mousey." A playful way to consider the needs of living creatures as the seasons change!

Our Trip to the Fire Station

October is Fire Safety Month and it was a beautiful fall day to walk to the West Brattleboro Fire Station!  At the station, we learned about fire safety; checked out the tools that the firefighters use; saw what a firefighter in full gear looks and sounds like; and, (best of all!) sat up in the fire truck!
