We met the calves at Lilac Ridge Farm and visited the milking parlor where the cows are milked twice a day. We even pretended to be cows and stood in the milking stachions! It was perfect timing to learn about dairy cows right before the annual Strolling of the Heifers Parade!
Farmer Amanda rescued a baby bird who couldn't find its way out of the milking parlor.
