Our Trip to Lilac Ridge Farm
The weather cooperated and we had a great day at the farm!
We used our senses to explore the baby plants at the farm stand, visited the baby cows, and transplanted lettuce and kale plant to grow at home this summer.
A big thank you to Farmers Amanda, Ross, and Willem Thurber!

The Circus Came to Town (well... to Academy School!)
Thanks to a generous grant from Blue Cross Blue Shield, the kindergartners are keeping fit (and learning some circus skills) from instructors from New England Center for Circus Arts! This was the first of 6 lessons. The kindergartners had a blast moving their bodies like animals and learning how to juggle with scarves!
Here come the bears!
Watch out for the crabs!
Flying like eagles!
Reaching for leaves to eat like giraffes!
Waddling like ducks!
Here come the gorillas!
Juggling time!
Show time!
