Adventures with Fruit!

The kindergartners have been trying (and enjoying!!) some new fruits at snack time including papaya, dragon fruit, and mangoes! Here they are trying dates stuffed with peanut butter- YUM!

Did you know that you can blow bubbles with the stem of a dandelion?! You can!

Morning Meeting

Every morning, we start our day filled with math and literacy as we graph the weather, count the days in school, read the daily schedule and the morning message.  We also make sure to get our bodies moving and have some fun together by dancing and playing games!

It's been so exciting to watch the kindergartners apply their letter sound knowledge and their ability to blend sounds into words as they begin to read!

Frogs, Rocks and Friendship!

So much learning happens during our time together in the forest: 

        imagination and creativity flourish, 

        collaboration, negotiation skills, and team work develops, 

        balance and strength grows,

        and, curiosity and love for the natural world blossom!
