Secret Reader

Who has two children? Who likes chocolate? What takes care of the river? Kali's mom, Kathy, our first secret reader - that's who!

Having a secret reader is another way to enjoy stories together and to learn about one another by meeting each other’s family members and sharing our favorite stories.

Nutrition and literacy lessons with Bonny

Our class is participating in a series of 6 nutrition and literacy lessons with Bonny White from the UVM Extension's Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Progam. In each lesson, the kindergartners will participate in a physically active game, read a story, and prepare a simple recipe. Here are some photos of our class playing toss the "strawberry and banana" balloons and making a strawberry and banana smoothie.
