Kindergarten Science: Pushes and Pulls
As part of our science study on Force and Motion, we worked on using appropriate language to describe motion, compare motion, and we began to develop an understanding of forces and their relationship to changes in motion. The kindergartners were introduced to the concept that objects fall toward the Earth and that the force that pulls objects toward the Earth affects the motion of all objects.
The kindergartners observed gravity at work by releasing their cars on the top of the ramp and watching the cars roll toward Earth without a push or pull. |
