Gingerbread Man Traps
After reading several different versions of the story of the Gingerbread Man, we posed a problem to the kindergartners. "Could you build a trap to catch the
gingerbread man who runs away?" The kindergarten engineers brainstormed plans how to catch the gingerbread man, gathered materials (Thanks to all of you who sent in
materials for this project!), built our traps, and tested our traps.

A Visit with Captain Carignan
As part of our study of community helpers, Captain Carignan from the Brattleboro Police Department visited our class. He talked to us about his job and showed us the things on his belt.
