Kindergarten cooks
The kindergartners helped make tortillas with Lizi Rosenberg from the Brattleboro Food Coop for dinner for Diversity Night - yum!
Pancakes with our own syrup!
After collecting and boiling the sap from the sugar maple tree, we enjoyed a delicious snack of pancakes with our own syrup! We incorporated our study of the five senses into the process of making and eating the syrup. "Syrup tastes sweet and delicious; it smells great; it looks brown; it feels sticky; and, the sap sounds like drip, drop in the bucket."
