Stone Soup

Storytime with Mr. Paciulli

Once a week our principal, Mr. Paciulli, comes in and reads us a story. It's one of our favorite times of the week!

Our Visit with Trooper Waitekus

Trooper Waitekus came and talked with the kindergartners about his job with the Vermont State Police.  Best of all, he brought his new cruiser for us to sit in!  

Kindergarten Firefighters and Police Officers

Officer Kylee and Firefighters Cooper and Ivan are keeping our classroom safe!

Our Visit with Captain Carignan

As part of our study of community helpers, Captain Mark Carignan visited our classroom and told us about his job working for the Brattleboro Poice Department.  He also showed us all the tools on his belt such as hand cuffs and his baton.  

Our Trip to the West Brattleboro Fire Station

We had a great trip to the West Brattleboro Fire Station on Friday!  Firefighters Jones and Sage reviewed fire safety with the kindergartners (such as changing the batteries in your smoke detectors.)  Firefighter Sage showed us what he looks like when he is in full gear. The highlight of the trip was getting a chance to sit up in the fire engine!
